    SSC Students and Faculty read poetry and short stories. Members of the SSC Student Jazz Ensemble will also perform. This event is open to all community members. Coffee and biscotti will be served. See photos from last year's Coffee House.

    75th Anniversary Open House
    2pm - Kindig Performing Arts Center
    South Suburban College celebrates its 75th Year Anniversary. Community members are invited to the Open House, which features performances by the PAC Rats Theatre Company and the SSC Deparment of Music. The PAC Rats Theatre Company will perform The Wright Brothers' First Flight, a radio play written by John deLancie and directed by Megan Zurawicz. All events during the Open House are free.

    Over 20 high schools from the south suburbs gather for clinics in jazz performance. The event will culminate with a concert featuring the SSC Jazz Orchestra and festival guest artists Clay Jenkins and Ari Brown.
