    Seating
We arrange seating according to the number in your reservation. We do our best to seat small children near the front, but that is not always possible. Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Is this show appropriate for my 1 year old? 12 year old?
A: The age appropriateness really depends upon the child. Some 1 year olds will enjoy watching the coloured lights, hearing the music and seeing the movement on the stage, while other wee ones of that age are frightened of the noise. For older kids, it depends on how much they enjoy seeing live theatre performances. Our children's shows don't "talk down" to kids, however, your child may have reached that stage when they are "too cool" to come to a play geared for younger audiences. Use your best judgement when deciding what age group to bring to the show.

Q: Do I need to use my credit card to hold my tickets?
A: No. We accept cash and checks only. We reserve tickets on the "honour system." If you need to cancel your reservation, please let us know!

Q: How long is the show?
A: The performance is about 1 hour long.

Q: Does my 3 year old need a ticket? They will sit in my lap.
A: Yes. Admission is paid for everyone who attends.

Q: I want to sit close to the front. Where are my seats?
A: We've moved to a general seating arrangement, which means you may sit wherever you like in the theatre. The earlier you get here, the better seat you'll get. We plan our children's plays so there isn't a "bad seat" in the house. For grammar school groups, seating charts are arranged in advance and faxed or mailed to you several days prior to the performance.

Q: What time do the doors to the theatre open?
A: We open the house for seating at 1/2 hour before the performance begins.

Q: What happens if I'm late? Will you hold my tickets?
A: If the performance is close to selling out, we will begin to sell the tickets of people who have reserved but not picked up at 10 minutes before curtain. If there is a line at the box office at that time, we certainly do wait until the line is clear before selling reserved tickets.

Q: Can I pick my tickets up in advance?
A: Because we are a small community college theatre, we don't keep a regular box office open on a daily basis. If you wish to pick up your tickets prior to show date, you'll need to make advance arrangements and bring exact change for your tickets.
